This is so important when living a truly authentic life. Sometimes the first step is the hardest. The truth hurts but the alternative is so much worse. Go where the love is!

I like the idea of living a truly authentic life. So much of what we do is by habit or conditioning it feels great when we do something because we are conscious and aware.

The same concept is found in my favorite poem. It is called “The Layers” so I decided to post it. I think you will like it.

Addictions are always the road to travel, the struggles are what prevents us from going forward.

The struggles do make it difficult. But addictions are the road? I want off that damn road lol

Yes, I don’t like the addiction road either. But it’s smoother versus the struggle road with withdrawal symptoms, hyperventilation, hypertension, anxiety, fear, guilt, all combined into one with no warning signals.

Hell is a broad definition. Sometimes people are living in hell and don’t even realize it.

I don’t know where you get philosophical from but Hell is not what we are told. Self harm for example can be a living hell, but people may disagree with me….

I have severe clinical depression. I know living hell, been there more than a few times unfortunately.
