Of course, I am talking about SUMMER! Heehee
This summer has definitely gone much faster for me than the last few summers. I actually had a really good summer. We didn’t do as much as we usually do (like Mets/Yankees games and concerts) but I still had a great time. Went to the beach club a bunch of times and spent a lot of time with friends and family. That always makes me the happiest.
Last week I took my nieces and nephew to Chuck e Cheese. They had such a ball, especially my 3 year-old niece who spent almost all her coins on the merry-go round. She just kept saying giddyup and again, again! She must’ve gone on at least 30 times lol. There was 3 horses so the other kids kept getting free rides. My H had me laughing saying she was like a little baller in a strip club raining down dollar bills.
I think that’s what is most important in life. Letting the people that matter most to you know how special they are. Why wait? Life is usually a lot shorter than we ever expect it to be.
Ha ha you totally had me with that title !!

OMG….Chuck E Cheese, I am 101% positive that place is the 7th level of hell here in Earth. I know the kids loved going there back in the day, but sheesh…

I just found this lol! Really? 7th level of hell? I like the skeeball but I’m a big kid anyway 🙂

Chuck E Cheese is a little slice of hell. When ours were little, they WOULD NOT come out of the tunnel crawling thing up on the ceiling. I could see them peeking down at me through the clear plexiglass sections. Big grins, laughing at me as I waved for them to come down so we could leave. Then they’d just disappear into the tube. Little shit’s were in that thing for like an hour and a half. I was afraid if I got up there, I’d get stuck in it.

LMAO! Yeah I said no to the tunnel playground. I had to climb up the one at McDonald’s a few years ago to get my other niece out when she got scared n couldn’t get down lol. I’m 5’8!!

Yeah, I’m not happy about my guys being not little anymore. But, on the bright side, I don’t have to go to Chuck E Cheese anymore!

That’s a huge bright side lol

Indeed. Although I’d go there weekly in return for them being little again. I’ve enjoyed all the stages thus far, but I miss that 2-5 year old stage. It was absolutely awesome!

I remember thinking, “Oh, they’ll always be little and cute and cuddly.”. Ha! Now they’re big and smelly and smartasses!

Well, bigger at least, and growing by the day. And they’re boys! Of course they smell bad sometimes. Between tai Kwan do, bball, running, biking, etc yeah they can get a bit of a funk on!

Well, one good thing is that I’m rarely asked to drive anywhere. Even my friends know to avoid the banshee mobile!

That’s precisely what it has become. It needs a thorough scrubbing on the inside, I can tell ya that. I’m glad it’s paid off.

It’s beyond my realm of expertise at this point. I believe a professional detailing would be in order…if I didn’t think it’d be a waste of time to do so that is. Wouldn’t take long before a gummy worm was imbedded in the carpet, a milkshake had been spilled in the seat, or a muddy pawed dog was invited in.

When I was little in the mid 1980s, it was called “ShowBiz,” but yeah. My Dad told me years later, “That pizza sucked.”

It’s all fun and games until they taunt you from the ceiling tunnel! Daring you to have to crawl up there to get em…or bribe another kid to go do it for you.

Emma- Today at our home it didn’t even get above 70!! We built a fire in the back yard tonight … Fall is definitely in the air! Cheers to a winter we can endure (and artificial sunlight)

That’s so important. Life is too short to watch it pass by. We have to take the chances given to us and spend it with the people who are special to us. x

I couldn’t have said it any better than that Ev. Take the chances given to us. So true!
